Well, Jason has once again decided that he doesn’t like our current blog, so we are moving once again. You can now visit us at jasonleahdenver.wordpress.com. Come on over!!
Monthly Archive for December, 2008
So I recently enlisted the help of my neighbor (Hi, Cat!) to take pictures of the pugs in the snow in their Christmas outfits made by Punchy. These are just a few of many, which I will be sharing over the next few days.
Aren’t they precious? Yes, my friends and family think I have officially lost my mind, but it’s fun!!
Well, everyone else is doing it. I think I did this last year, too, but I will do it again.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I LOVE LOVE LOVE to wrap gifts!!
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial. I love the scent of a real tree but hate the mess and the fire hazard. Plus you gotta love the pre-lit tree (except when one strand goes out and you can’t figure out how to fix it)
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the day after Thanksgiving, but before Thanksgiving this year, since we were going to be out of town
4. Wreath on your door? Yep, a real wreath this year
5. Do you like eggnog? Ick, no. And thank goodness-waaaaayyy too many calories
6. Favourite Christmas gift received as a child? Little Tykes kitchen
7. Easiest person to buy for? My mom
8. Least easiest? Jason. He is impossible to buy for
9. Do you have a nativity scene? No but I really want a Willow Tree nativity scene. Not in the budget though.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail cards
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I can’t remember anything horrible
12. Favourite Christmas Movie? White Christmas
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually November
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don’t recall but I’m sure I have
15. Open presents on Christmas eve or morning? One of Christmas Eve, the rest Christmas morning
16. Lights on the tree? White
17. Favourite Christmas song? Too many to pick just one….Oh Holy Night (especially by Josh Groban), What Child Is This?, and Mary Did You Know?
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Travel to Texas
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer’s? Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen, Rudoph

Merry Christmas!
It’s that time again…..time to send out cards! Ours are not quite ready, but I have started addressing the envelopes to help speed up the process. If you would like to be on our Christmas card list and have not been in the past or have a new address, please let me know!! My email address is jasonleah03 at gmail dot com. Merry Christmas!
So I realized, as I looked back through my pictures, that I didn’t get many good ones from Thanksgiving. I think I may have to steal yours, Tracy!
Here is our food spread. We had a good feast! My contribution was deviled eggs–I hate them but love to make them and do so every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We spent one evening at the Bellevue Botanic Garden Blossom D’Light display. It was beautiful and a perfect night–barely misting and not cold.
We also did some Black Friday shopping, went to the movies with our nieces, played Wii and board games, hung out with some of Jason’s friends from home, and just had a wonderful time. It was so nice to be with family for the holiday!
And this is Zoe, one of Jason’s mom’s dogs. She is soooo cute–I was ready to bring her home in my suitcase!
I hope all of our friends and family out there had a great Thanksgiving! Ours was super fun–we traveled to Seattle to spend the holiday with Jason’s family there. It was wonderful, but went too quickly as always. He hasn’t been home for Thanksgiving in like 10 years, so it was fun for him to be home!
We do have pictures of our trip, and I will post them later this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season!
